We are
situated not far from the River Loire, on the north side, midway near Amboise between Tours and Blois.
If you are
coming from the north via Paris you need to take
the A10 motorway, sign-posted Bordeaux, and
leave at the Amboise exit.
Drive down into the Loire valley and on reaching the river Loire, without crossing it , follow the
signs for Blois along the N152.
Drive 13
kms to the village of Veuves where you turn
off, following the signs for Monteaux and Mesland.
Come right
into the village of Monteaux (still following the signs for Mesland) pass in
front of the Post Office (if you pass in front of the Mairie you are going the
wrong way!) and at the first crossroads, on the bend, take the first turning
left, indicated to Le Bois St Laumer.
Drive to
the top of the street and there turn left into the PETIT St Laumer.
The
property is the second on your right, No 12, two white gate pillars and a house
covered in Virginia Creeper.
